How We Work
The process of working with City Personnel is fairly intensive, but it’s important for us to get a true understanding of who you are and exactly what it is that you’re looking for.

We start by reviewing your resume to get an overview of your skill set and past experience. Next, a phone call to determine your suitability for any of our current job openings. For some job seekers, that we cannot currently help, we offer them free advice and suggest alternate resources.

If your phone interview indicates that you are right for one of our current positions, you will be invited into our office for an interview. If that interview goes well and your background and reference checks are suitable, and the client expresses interest in our resume, we will arrange for an interview with our client, follow up with the client and give you feedback to help you achieve a successful job placement.

In addition, our Employment Counseling services ensure that you are 100% prepared to make a great first impression at interviews. We coach you on the basics, including:

  careful review of your resume’s content and layout
  how to put forth a professional appearance at interviews
  understand what you should and should not say
  review industry keywords that speak to your experience
